After participating in the Resume and Cover Letter workshop, you should be able to create a resume which you can confidently hand to employers. This will be achieved by familiarizing yourself with the tools and components that are necessary to create a “winning” resume.  You will also learn the importance of a professional cover letter, and how to compose one.

This familiarization process will take place through the presentation of information and experiential learning, in the form of group discussion, group and pair work and individual work.

At the end of this workshop, you should be able to construct a resume and cover letter independently or if needed, flow towards the appropriate support resources.
